Company Profile
Jerry & Pam Schill are the founders of The Joshua Christian Family Center. Jerry and his wife Pam wanted to provide something "different" for those that yearn country living and the great outdoors.
The service we offer is a secluded, peaceful working farm where a family or a group can vacation while participating in routine farm chores. Milking a cow by hand, pasteurizing the milk, working with draft horses, or gathering eggs allow the family to work together, play together, and pray together. Youngsters will learn the value of manual labor and teamwork.
Set in a Christian environment, the farm will also offer the corporate set an opportunity to be humbled with sweat generated by manual labor. We offer a peaceful place on the wrap around porch, large kitchen, or even the barn floor for sales or management meetings. One of the specific goals of The Center is to offer free stays to military families that have been separated by overseas deployment.
Jerry & Pam Schill, have been active in various Christian endeavors all of their adult lives. Jerry has had farm experience as a young man in Clarion County, PA, and both have had many years of experience in business. For nearly 20 years Jerry was the chief executive officer of the North Carolina Fisheries Association, one of the oldest and largest statewide commercial fishing trade associations in the U.S., while Pam was the Office Manager of a multi line insurance agency in New Bern, NC, managing several employees. Jerry has also had vast experience in dealing with media and public relations via television, radio and print media.
